I was 15 when I heard The Damned New Rose played on the Radio in 1976 ,it completely blew me away ,I heard a few more songs from bands later on and I was hooked on Punk Rock , Buying every record I could and going to gigs, I still get that same buzz from the music as I did as a teen nigh on half a century ago This Blog is for everything PUNK ROCK from the 1970s , Ill list every vinyl Release from a band between 76-79 (Where a band started as a Punk Band and then changed direction I will list their other releases), Plus Lives , Demos , Sessions, Fanzines, Recordings from the 70s released Years Later , I realise people's definition of what is considered " Punk" varies but I have my idea and that's what I'll stick with.
