I was 15 when I heard The Damned New Rose played on the Radio in 1976 ,it completely blew me away ,I heard a few more songs from bands later on and I was hooked on Punk Rock , Buying every record I could and going to gigs,
I still get that same buzz from the music as I did as a teen nigh on half a century ago
This Blog is an attempt to list every PUNK ROCK vinyl release available to the general public worldwide in the mainly from the years 1976-1979 some releases by the bigger bands were only available in Europe and America but we're more than likely available on LPs or singles everywhere, These Aren't included Promos aren't included either
Where a band Started as a Punk Band and then changed direction I will list their other releases Strictly up to the year 1979,
I realise people's definition of what is considered " Punk" varies but I have my idea and that's what I'll stick with.
